BABY MASSAGE ONE TO ONE IN YOUR HOME PRE OR POST BIRTH

This private one to one course is open to women who are pregnant and would like to learn the tools before their baby arrives and also to women and their partners who already have their baby, newborn to crawling. Its never to late or early to learn! All taught in the comfort of your own home pre or post birth.

Massaging your new baby is a great way to get to know them and to create a loving, trusting bond between yourself and your child. It is a great way to get partners involved in caring for their newborn. Partners do not get the skin-to-skin contact that mothers and babies have through breastfeeding, so this is a great way for them to establish a strong bond with their child.

During the classes I will demonstrate the massage techniques including a combination of Indian, Swedish and Reflexology strokes on a demonstration doll whilst you massage your baby. There will be ample opportunity at the end of the course for you to ask any questions regarding the course and what you have learnt.  Below is a summary of the course content:

 

A certified Infant massage instructor Brooke Martin will guide you through the following:

• Learn about appropriate oils to use for baby massage

• Infant daily cycle and the best time to massage

• Massage sequence for legs, arms, belly

• Exercises to help with coordination & development

Private Course - $150 includes bottle of organic sesame oil (1.5 hours)

Mother's group course - $45 each includes bottle of organic sesame oil.
